Bee wine carafe
The bee wine carafe – another in the range of classic glassware from France. A set of glassware owned by Napoleon inspired the design ; he extensively used the bee emblem, which is considered the oldest emblem of the sovereigns of France, linking back to the Merovingian dynasty.
Decanting wine into a carafe allows air in to release the flavour and tickle your nose. Ideally, decant your wine a couple of hours before drinking.
Great for the dining table indoors, but also on the garden table or at a picnic in summer. A tough little number, it can withstand the dishwasher or the microwave.
