Sentai secateurs

Sentai secateurs are hard wearing, heavy duty secateurs for all-round use in the garden. Hand forged in Hyogo, Japan, from SK carbon steel, with a solid, chunky catch at the bottom and a robust spring, these secateurs combine great Japanese craftsmanship with tough, edge-retaining steel and a comfy grip for prolonged use.

Due to their high carbon content, the steel in these will oxidise if you leave them out. To look after them, we recommend oiling them with something like Camellia (tea seed) oil or similar. In addition, to maintain their edge, a sharpening stone is a good investment.
