Old French school maps

My Christmas present finally arrives a little late – old French school maps!

The wonders of the Christmas post meant my Christmas present didn’t quite get here for Christmas itself, but it was worth the wait. I’ve now got two old French school maps, as used in French school classrooms some time last century. They’re double sided, the first showing northern France around Lille and Amiens one side with the East of France on the back, around Nancy & Strasbourg. The second shows the Massif Central on one side around Clermont Ferrand & Limoges and the Jura region on the other, around Mulhouse, Dijon and Lyon.

They’re off to the picture framer on Monday.
