In late November 2009, we went to New York for a few days. One of the highlights of the trip was discovering the High Line garden.
This disused railway line above the streets of lower Manhattan has been transformed into an urban park that runs for about a third of a mile from the Meatpacking district and Chelsea northwards with planting design by renowned garden designer Piet Oudolf. Eventually it is set to run for over a mile up towards 30th Street.
We've just taken delivery today of another batch of the Burmese terracotta barbecue ovens, so if you've been waiting, pop into the shop soon and grab one - we're not sure how long these are going to last given the current weather!
The terracotta barbecues from Burma that we used to stock a few years back are now available again in our Tunbridge Wells shop. These are £160 and come with a metal stand. Due to their size and weight, these will only be availble in store and not, we're afraid, for mail order.
